Here you … one last-minute change has been made to the lineups that were submitted to the referees, but these are the 11 gentlemen who will be taking the field for the Revolution tonight:
Reis
Albright Heaps — Parkhurst — Heaps Igwe
Larentowicz — Joseph
Nyassi — Castro — Smith
Cristman — Mansally
Bench: Warren (GK), Dube, Fernandez, Flood, Franchino, Hilgenbrinck, Igwe Thompson
Colorado is playing without Pablo Mastroeni, Conor Casey (a New Hampshire native), Mike Petke and Ugo Ihemelu and the Revs are undefeated in their last seven matches against the Rapids at Gillette Stadium (5-0-2).
Thoughts?

What on earth was Nicol thinking trying to put Khano on the right side? I think that cost us the game…

What happened to this RevsWrap feature? Did I miss it? I don’t see any link on the Revs site.

What’s the word on Nyassi? I assume he picked up a knock?
Agreed that Smith was more effective when he was switched back to the left side. What a dismal night…

I think we probably noticed Nyassi being gone in the second half more than any particular move (that being said, I completely agree that Smith has to play on the left side – I also think Castro is better in the middle than on the flanks). Smith is great when he’s on, but man is he painful to watch when he’s off. That first touch of his is so critical to his game down the line. More often than not, he’s his own worst enemy. He also hasn’t developed any defensive skills this off-season. Looks like another love-hate season with the guy…
Our set pieces are looking reaaaalllly good this year. Castro and Jeff have been wonderfully dangerous on the free kicks. I think we look much more dangerous on this front than last year.
As much as I love Christman’s scrappy defense, the guy has got to do a better job finishing. With Twellman, Dorman, and Noonan gone, we need shots that are on goal at a minimum.
I heard Albright was out with an ankle? Hopefully not the hamstring?!!

For those of you who were not at the game- the refs. were horrible. Did I say that? Yes I did, horrible horrible- that did not help us one bit. Let’s start over again, let’s focus on Saturday’s game, let’s win Saturday’s game! Time to move forward and look ahead.

I thought Iggy looked surprisingly good at left back.
Not quite sure what to do w/ Castro, I think he has to play in the middle b/c I’m not sure he runs enough to play out wide. But he is great on the ball and very dangerous on set pieces.
Cristman was better at winning some balls and holding the ball up than in prior games, but he really let us down on the goal.
It’s going to be a long week. Can’t wait for next Sat.

Couldn’t aggree more about Iggy. That’s two consistent games from him which felt lika a luxery last year at times.
The referee piece is sooo painful to watch (can I say it has been better than last year?). I couldn’t believe the two blown calls – the one when Castro was taken down pushing down the middle of the field and the other, when Shalrie was in front of the CO bench (especially after calling the other way so quickly). That one foul outside the box on the fast break (can’t remember who was taken down…. Jeff maybe?) was a red in my opinion, not just a yellow. That was a very hard tackle from behind.
What’s interesting about Castro is that he can carry the ball and drive forward while fighting guys off his back – we’ve seen it once or twice already. At 130 lbs, the kid is tough (If only Christman could stay on his feet and use his body the same way to recieve those long balls instead falling down all the time or getting bumped off his trap).
Fernadez and Dube didn’t shine much last night… not sure what to think about their performance
Any updates on Nyassi? I heard a Ralston interview that he may be out for a couple of weeks….
A big congrats to Reis on the consecutive MLS minutes record. Couldn’t have happened to a better player!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are we ever going to find out where Kyle Helton disappeared to?
