El Revolution espera seguir sumando
Written by mmorales on June 4, 2009 – 4:05 pm -

Revs take a rare midweek rest
Written by supahrevs on June 4, 2009 – 1:58 pm -As briefly mentioned in yesterday’s training recap, the Revs are off today after the midweek training session was cancelled so as not to overwork the players ahead of Sunday night’s clash with the Red Bulls (6 p.m. ET, TV38, WEEI Radio Network).
With an extra day to prepare for the match, the club will train again on Friday and Saturday before hosting New York at Gillette Stadium on Sunday. The last time the Revs trained five straight days ahead of a match was prior to the May 3 game against Houston, and we all remember how that turned out. With that said, perhaps the day off is an intelligent idea.
For those of you who want to do some advanced scouting, you can catch the Red Bulls in action against D.C. United at RFK Stadium tonight. Coverage begins at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes.
