Broadcast Booth Bits - Familiar Foes
Written by Brad Feldman on October 31, 2009 – 9:27 pm -It wouldn’t be fall in New England without the Chicago Fire heading to Foxborough for a MLS Cup Playoffs game at Gillette Stadium. Training recap - October 31
Written by revseye on October 31, 2009 – 12:56 pm -There certainly was no evidence of Halloween at this morning’s training session, which ran a crisp 75 minutes on the Gillette Stadium field. No orange, black or even facepaint or masks. For this group of pranksters and fun-loving guys, that means one thing - they’re getting down to business for tomorrow’s match. After the Revs’ U16s and U18s wrapped up their early-morning session, the first team stepped on for their final run-through before kicking off the 2009 MLS Cup Playoffs tomorrow afternoon against Chicago (2 p.m., Fox Soccer Channel, WRKO 680 AM).

Written by supahrevs on October 29, 2009 – 1:08 pm -There was more playoff-like weather for today’s training session on the Gillette Stadium practice fields, with cold temperatures and biting winds - but no rain! That made for a quality training session which lasted approximately an hour-and-a-half. With the 2009 MLS Cup Playoffs officially getting underway this evening when Seattle hosts Houston, the time is now to make sure everyone is sharp, prepared and ready to roll when kickoff against the Fire arrives at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
