Kheli Dube’s impressive three-goal performance last Sunday had him elected the MLS player of the week for the first time in his career.

“I feel like it was good passes from teammates, and without those good passes you aren’t going to get any good chances. It’s all about teamwork and getting good balls from guys,” said a modest Dube after the game.

But Dube’s celebration skills are not something to be modest about it. Perhaps if the MLS awarded the best celebration of the week, he would had taken that designation without a problem.

El impresionante desempeño de Kheli Dube el pasado domingo, le hizo merecedor del premio, el  jugador MLS de la semana.

Dube tomó su hazaña con gran modestia, “siento que fueron los pases de mis compañeros, sin esos buenos pases no vas a tener buenas oportunidades. Todo está en el trabajo en equipo y de recibir buenas pelotas de tus compañeros,” acotó Dube después del partido.

Pero su talento para celebrar no es algo de lo cual se deba tener modestia alguna. Si la MLS otorgara un premio para la mejor celebración de la semana, seguramente Dube se llevaría la designación sin mayor problema.
