If you haven’t already seen the news this morning, today’s lead story for newsstand is the annoncement of the Revolution’s all-time leading scorer, Taylor Twellman, being named Cosmopolitan magazine’s representative for the state of Massachusetts in the magazine’s 2009 Hottest Bachelors. The full spread of winners will appear in the November 2009 issue.
As for soccer news around the league, we start with MLSnet.com, where Steve Davis takes a look at the postseason picture after the dust has settled from Week 29. Meanwhile, the Associated Press has an interesting interview with MLS commissioner Don Garber, who says that the American league’s financial model might be more stable than that of its European counterparts.
Finally, ESPN Soccernet has its weekly power rankings, with the Revs dropping two spots following last week’s road trip to Dallas and Colorado.
