Goals for a cause on Saturday night

Everyone loves a high-scoring soccer game, and now we can all hope for the goals to fly in on Saturday night in support of a great cause.
American Airlines, MLS W.O.R.K.S. and the New England Revolution have teamed up to support the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation during Saturday night’s game against the Chicago Fire. For every goal scored during the game - regardless of which team scores - American Airlines will donate $5,000 to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation, while the airline will also hold a special halftime presentation to give away two round-trip tickets to a pair of fans who have shown their support for the cause. Additionally, American Airlines will pass out promotional items and offer travel discounts to the first 5,000 fans to come through the gates on Saturday night.
For those of you who wish to donate $5 to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation, you can do so by texting the word “KOMEN” to 90999.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $1 billion since its inception in 1982. As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer suvivors and activists, the organization works to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
Fan Appreciation Night
Saturday night will also be “Fan Appreciation Night,” in which the Revolution’s fans will be recognized for their outstanding support though a variety of giveaways, including 2010 season tickets, instant upgrades to the Fidelity Investments Clubhouse, customized Revolution jerseys and much more. Also, the players will give the shirts off their backs to 18 lucky season ticket holders postgame, and the entire roster will be at Autograph Alley following the game.
