Now that everyone’s had a chance to digest the results from last weekend which finally established pairings for the first round of the MLS Cup Playoffs, it’s time to look ahead to those matchups and analyze what will go down during the next two weeks.

After his first goal of the season essentially locked up a postseason berth for the Revs, steadfast central midfielder Jeff Larentowicz was selected as Goal.com’s player of the week for the final round of the regular season. Congratulations, Jeff.
