The Revs had a special guest at the wet and rainy training session today. Also known as @hoover_dam (on Twitter), or as the resident artiste of The Fort, Prairie Rose Clayton swung by with a special treat for the guys.

You see, last week she issued a Twitter challenge to the team (@nerevolution) and players (@bbknighton, @christierny8, @wellsthompson and @taylortwellman): if the team made the playoffs, she would bring 48 Irish Cake Bomb cupcakes to training this week. If the team lost, well, we’d have to comp her pedicure.

At first we didn’t know if she was actually serious (although, by judging on the artwork around he stadium, we should have known she was), but she stood by her words, and after the team beat Columbus, arrangements were made to deliver the goods.

The Irish Cake Bomb cupcakes (delish, btw) were more than welcomed by the guys, with several trays disappearing into the locker room once the guys came in from training. Another tray made its way up to the front office, and no straggling cupcakes went home with Prairie. Successful wager, if you ask us. Besides, with the cold, wet weather today, there was probably nothing better to help warm the guys up after the fact.
