Injury Report - November 6
Written by supahrevs on November 6, 2009 – 4:52 pm -
The team has arrived in Chicago after a late morning flight out of Boston, and everyone’s currently getting settled at the hotel for a couple of hours before the team dinner this evening. Needless to say, after last night’s result between Real Salt Lake and Columbus presented the chance for the winner of the Revs-Fire series to host the Eastern Conference Championship, the boys are especially amped to take the field tomorrow night at Toyota Park.
Travel day is also typically a day in which a lot of questions about injuries are cleared up, as it’s decided who travels and who stays behind. Luckily for the Revs, it doesn’t appear as if any new injuries have prevented players from traveling to the Windy City.
Here is the official New England Revolution injury report for Friday, Nov. 6:
PROBABLE: Brad Knighton (lumbar disc irritation/illness), Jeff Larentowicz (R knee bone bruise)
QUESTIONABLE: Edgaras Jankauskas (illness)
OUT: Chris Albright (L lateral meniscus tear), Gabriel Badilla (R quad strain), Steve Ralston (R ACL tear), Taylor Twellman (concussion)
The only change between Tuesday’s injury report and today’s injury report is the upgrade of Brad Knighton from “Questionable” to “Probable.” The backup goalkeeper is recovering from illness while also still dealing with a back injury, but he trained during the week and made the trip to Chicago.
Jeff Larentowicz (R knee bone bruise) remains “Probable” but trained full yesterday and is in Chicago, hoping to replicate his impressive performance from Game 1.
Edgaras Jankauskas - who left Game 1 early in the second half with an illness - is still listed as “Questionable” and trained on-and-off throughout the week. However, he has traveled to Chicago and will be available for selection tomorrow night.
Chris Albright (L lateral meniscus tear), Gabriel Badilla (R quad strain), Steve Ralston (R ACL tear) and Taylor Twellman (concussion) are all “Out” and will not be available for selection tomorrow night. However, Twellman is expected to join his teammates in Chicago and we’re hearing may be getting some air time on both Fox Soccer Channel’s television broadcast and WRKO 680 AM’s radio broadcast.
Now, we wait. We’re just a little more than 24 hours from kickoff and we hope you’re as excited as we are to get things rolling tomorrow night …

Will revolutionsoccer.net be streaming the game video online?
November 6th, 2009 at 6:37 pm
No. FSC has the game exclusively so you’ll have to watch it there live. Several hours after the game, if you have an MLSnet.com video subscription, you’ll be able to watch the full game online through the league’s web site. You can listen to the audio stream online live through revolutionsoccer.net, however.

Yeah what’s the deal with all their games always being on FSC? We can’t watch our home team on television for about half the games throughout the year. Some type of agreement must be met such as the NFL where games can be televised. UPN should be able to broadcast all these games. It’s sad when you follow your home team for the entire season and then you have to resort to finding online feeds to see them in the playoffs. Come on front office and step up here.

Where is Mike Videira? He wasn’t at the first playoff game and I have not seen him listed as available on the bench for several games.
