Revolution Newsstand - November 10

Revolution NewsstandWell, after a few days to ponder, it’s finally starting to sink in that the season really has come to an end. While Mondays are almost always an off day for the players, Tuesdays are typically the day in which everyone returns to the stadium to begin training and preparing for the upcoming game. With the Revolution locker room still empty this morning, however, the reality of last weekend’s loss has become apparent.

That doesn’t mean that there isn’t still news, however …

As you might’ve seen on the front page of revolutionsoccer.net, former U.S. National Team and Revolution defender - and current Vice President of Player Personnel - Mike Burns is one of 24 players on the 2010 National Soccer Hall of Fame and Museum Player Ballot, along with fellow former Revs Joe-Max Moore and Raul Diaz Arce. The Daily Star in Oneonta, N.Y., has coverage of the story.

Meanwhile, there is still plenty of review and analysis from all of last weekend’s action if you’re interested in re-living it. Kyle McCarthy has his Monday MLS Breakdown on Goal.com, while Steve Davis has pieces on both MLSnet.com and ESPN Soccernet.
