Revolution NewsstandIf you’ve been following the Revs this week, you know that it’s been a pretty busy past few days in terms of news. In the last 48 hours, the club has released its full 2010 schedule and hired a new assistant coach (Stephen Myles). On the player personnel front, Kevin Alston was called up to the U.S. National Team (again), Matt Reis had surgery on his left knee (not expected to keep him out any longer than his previous shoulder surgery) and Amaechi Igwe was waived. Additionally, it was learned that Chilean forward Reinaldo Navia will join the Revs for a three-day trial beginning on Monday.

All that news - and more - is disussed in today’s newsstand.

    At least the Revs are trying to fill a hole here at forward, with the big Jan not the answer and I doubt we will see Twellman back. They should also look for a playmaking veteran midfielder ln the mold of a Peter Nowak, or Barros Schelotto.
