Heaps included into New England Soccer Hall of Fame

On Saturday, Oct. 29, former Revolution defender and current TV Color Analyst Jay Heaps was inducted into the New England Soccer Hall of Fame at the Johnson & Wales Inn in Seekonk, Mass.

Also inducted were former Revolution player and current Providence College men’s soccer head coach Chaka Daley, former Luso-American Soccer Association league selection John Feeley, Rhode Island Over-30 Men’s League co-founder Joao Luis Ferreira, Soccer Rhode Island founder Larry Fish, Vermont Tech men’s soccer head coach Jamie Hutchins, former University of Rhode Island soccer star Kevin Murphy, and former Quinnipiac University men’s soccer head coach Victor Santos.

Revolution Vice-President of Business Development Craig Tornberg was on hand to deliver the keynote speech and President of RI Soccer Assoc. David Borts served as emcee.
