St. Louis sightings

2009_superdraftThe lobby of the Westin in St. Louis is starting to fill up as all the representatives from the 15 teams, league personnel, media types and players begin to relocate from Ft. Lauderdale.

Last night we saw the first of the Generation adidas playerscome in late after their flights (at least it’s safe to assume they were the GAs based on their being decked out in full three-stripe gear from head to tow), and this morning you started seeing the technical staffs arrive. No sighting of the Revs crew yet, but Dallas and Chicago have been sited.

Out of town

2009_superdraftThe next few days will be a bit light on the blog since the Revs’ communications staff is on the road in St. Louis ahead of Thursday’s MLS SuperDraft. We have a full two days packed with meetings, all in an effort to help us do a better job and get you - the supporter - the information you want and need.

The one thing that always strikes us at these meetings, since they’re held the two days before the draft, is the inability to hide player movements or impending deals from the group.
