Revolution Newsstand - August 31
Written by revseye on August 31, 2008 – 8:57 am -
What a thrilling game last night. Despite tired and heavy legs, the Revs - courtesy of Shalrie Joseph - pulled out the draw with a rejuevenated Los Angeles squad in front of an electric crowd 39,000+ at Gillette Stadium. Taylor Twellman’s nose for goal earned him not only his fifth goal of the year - and his 96th career goal - but also five stitches and a pretty swollen cheek.
The Boston Globe had not only a game story, but also a notebook with a few tidbits about Matt Reis, Gabriel Badilla and David Beckham.
The Boston Herald has a game story, while both the Telegram & Gazette and Sun Chronicle also check in with game recaps.
MLSnet.com has both the game story, as well as a sidebar about the Revs’ recent stretch of games.

Revolution Newsstand - August 30
Written by revseye on August 30, 2008 – 9:02 am -
A few previews of tonight’s match against the Galaxy, which is expected to draw upwards of 35,000 fans to Gillette Stadium.
Monique Walker of the Boston Globe caught up with David Beckham in her preview and got his thoughts about growing up watching Steve Nicol at Liverpool - and, of course, Saturday’s game.
Goal.com also has a preview of the game, although with a decidedly anti-Revs result.
Kyle McCarthy has two pieces in today, one in the Boston Herald and his usual piece at MLSnet.com that notes the Revs are starting to slowly heal up.
Remember to catch tonight’s game on TV38, or 1510 AM The Zone if you’re not in front of a TV. And if you still don’t have your tickets for tonight’s game, they’re still available by calling 1-877-GET-REVS.
