Revolution Vice President of Business Development Craig Tornberg and a few of the Rev Girls spent a great hour with big soccer fan Ziggy Marley prior to his concert tonight at the Comcast Center in Mansfield with 311.

CT and company were invited onto Ziggy’s  tour bus (home during these 30 nationwide shows) where Ziggy was presented with a personalized Revolution jersey and some other swag.

Ziggy also chatted about  Jamaica, his tour,  his new album, “Family Times“  and of course,  soccer and the Revolution in general.

Derrotaron 2-1 a D.C.United en un emocionante partido.

Después de seis partidos sin conocer el triunfo. El Revolution  se reencontró con el triunfo frente a sus propios fans al vencer en forma electrizante a su clásico rival, DC United por 2-1.

Tras un comienzo algo desalentador para los dueños de casa en donde D.C. United tomó la batuta del partido y logró abrir el marcador a los 36 minutos gracias a un potente tiro desde el borde del área del brasileño Fred.

Taylor Twellman, quien no jugaba desde la temporada pasada debido a una lesión a la cabeza, ingreso antes de tiempo al campo de juego debido a una lesión sufrida por el mediocampista Jeff Larentowicz. La presencia de Twellman se hizo sentir en forma inmediata. Su olfato goleador y conocida peligrosidad fue suficiente para empezar a desarticular la defensa contraria, quien se dedico a marcarlo en forma ruda y muy cercana y lo largo del partido.

As you well know, 26-year-old Ghanaian defender Emmanuel Osei, who was signed by the Revs on March 31, arrived in the United States yesterday. After completing his entrance physical Thursday afternoon, the Revolution’s newest member was in gear for today’s training session. Osei, who wears No. 5, will be available for the Revs’ match against Houston on Sunday.

Finally, we’re hearing rumors of a Revolution staff race (via twitter).  It begs the question - if the staff are running, who’s going to be taping this? Guess we’ll have to wait and see which member of the Revolution wants to turn cameraman…
