Austin Day Five

Written by revseye on February 27, 2009 – 4:15 pm -

Today’s training session was the last day before tomorrow’s game against the Aztex and was shorter than those earlier this week. The team was even able to get almost all of the session in before the (hot) sun broke through the overcast and clouds right on schedule at 11 a.m.

The guys went through the paces today with Paul Mariner and Gwynne Williams, and capped the 75-minute session with the team’s customary day-before-a-game scoring drill.

The team’s traditional light jog and stretch started the day, with ladder work thrown in for footwork. Then it was a more complicated passing sequence focusing on short, crisp passes, as well as longer, accurate passes.
