It’s Official: Michael Videira Signs

Written by supahrevs on December 29, 2008 – 4:52 pm -

MLS New England RevolutionThe Revs made their first addition of the offseason today, bolstering their roster with the signing of local product Michael Videira, an attacking midfielder who played his college soccer at Duke. Full details can be found in the official release.

The Milford, Mass., native and former Noble and Greenough School standout was originally drafted by the Revolution in the second round (18th overall) of the 2008 MLS SuperDraft but he chose instead to pursue a career in Europe, where he eventually signed with Hamilton Academical of the Scottish Premier League in August. Following a four-month stint with the Accies, Videira has returned to the U.S. and signed with Major League Soccer and the Revs.

Let us be the first to say, welcome Michael!
