What a game!
Written by supahrevs on February 12, 2009 – 1:48 pm -So we’re sure everyone caught that incredible game last night … I mean, who would’ve thought that UNC would handle Duke by 14 points?!
Of course, we’re just kidding. While we did have a number of players with significant rooting interests in the college basketball showdown between the No. 3 Tar Heels and No. 5 Blue Devils last night, the focus around here was on the United States’ huge 2-0 win over Mexico in Columbus. Becoming a familiar - and welcome - result, isn’t it?
We wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on our “predictions” blog post from yesterday and recognize those who were right on the money.

U.S. vs. Mexico predictions!
Written by supahrevs on February 11, 2009 – 6:17 pm -
With tonight’s massive World Cup Qualifier between the United States and Mexico set to kick off in less than two hours in Columbus, we thought it would be fun to poll the Revs’ staff to get their thoughts and predictions on tonight’s match. Unsurprisingly, everyone predicted victory for the red, white and blue - with one notable exception. Revolution Broadcasting Executive and play-by-play man Brad Feldman was the lone dissenter, predicting a 1-1 draw. To his credit, he did say that he hopes he’s wrong. We hope so, too, Brad.
Then, of course, we had one witty staff member merely predict a red card for Rafa Marquez in the 67th minute. Honestly, probably a pretty decent prediction.
And now, without further ado, here are the full staff predictions.
